Aloha! As JABSOM continues to work toward a culture of safety, inclusivity, and true aloha for our learners, employees, and patients, we have created a "shout out" or "praise" form for anyone to recognize someone who has demonstrated behaviors that exemplify professionalism. 

The JABSOM Professionalism Philosophy:

As a member of the John A. Burns School of Medicine community, I uphold the highest standards of professional behavior. As such, I will treat myself and others with respect, aloha and compassion, execute my duties with skill and accountability, act altruistically, embrace social responsibility, conduct myself with integrity and humility, and pursue excellence in all that I do.

We plan to highlight these bright spots monthly in our JABSOM Weekly newsletter. Professionalism champions within our student body, faculty, and staff, may also choose to highlight these elsewhere.   Thank you for contributing!
